The family of SSGT Alan Palmore has requested the PGR attend services for this brave warrior on 18 Sept 10.
 
Alan passed away 2 Sept 10. Alan served in the Air Force (67-74) with the 600th Photo Group at Phu Cat ABVN where his recon aircraft took fire and he was wounded. And he was a submariner in the Navy (74-78) serving on the USS Daniel Boone. He was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries received in Viet Nam. He also was named photographer of the year by Life magazine and was on the cover. He was also the brother of Bernie Palmore, a fellow PGR member and central region ride captain in Indiana.
