My supervisor was Native American and I wish I could remember his name. He was the first to tell me about native culture and Pow Wow and he could speak in his native language. I was so impressed because I'd never been exposed to this. He told me about how he was looked upon as a warrior by serving in the military and I was so proud of him.

Best Moment
I worked as a commisary cashier and had trouble with the registers. Retraining into an administrative career field out of Supply Services. This career field later became extinct and contracted out.
Worst Moment
This was a direct duty assignment (DDA) after basic training. There was no tech school so it was rare to see an airman basic on an active duty base since most got their first stripe during tech school. I was either saluted mistakenly because of the slick sleeve or assumed to be busted.
