Captain Edwin Goodrich's remains were returned 14 August 1985.
The mission for the day was to bomb the Viet Tri Thermal Power Plan. However, the photo aircraft, "Neptune 2", RF-4C (#65-0877) from the 11th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, 460th Tactical Fighter WIng, out of Tan Son Nhut was shot down. Flown by Capt Edwin Riley Goodrich, Jr. who was KIA and 1st Lt John Walter Clark who became a POW was shot down
