Sgt. Walter Capps was very likely flying in a T-28 with Major Troxel when it was lost over Laos.

Sgt. Capps was interred in Lafayette Memorial Park, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. His father, USAF career Master Sergeant Arthur Gwyn Capps, was interred near his son following his death on 31 Dcember 2001.
