CAPT. Robert Morris and crew: May 4, 2011

I was stationed at Kincheloe AFB, MI from  Nov. 1969 through Feb. 1971 with the 449th Bomb Wing as a B-52H Crew Chief (60-0049) and flew many missions with the crews commanded by Capt. Robert Morris and Capt. Robert Dorr.  The three men I recall most from Capt. Morris' crew were Capt. Morris, his Co-Pilot Lt. Robert Wilson and his EWO Maj. Nutter Wimbrow.  The best mission we flew together was a "Cross-Country" to Mather AFB, CA and back in the summer of 1970.

This was one of the three better or best of the 716th BS's crews.  The best was Capt. Robert Dorr's crew who took my aircraft to Bomb Comp in '70.

Thanks to Capt Morris and crew for the professionalism and the friedlieness toward your Crew Chiefs.  We haven't forgotten.
