Last Known Activity:

Captain Lynch was a co-pilot of a UH-1F killed due to enemy fire during a rescue mission.

During his service in the Vietnam War, Air Force Captain Lynch experienced a traumatic event which ultimately resulted in loss of life on April 13, 1969. Recorded circumstances attributed to: Died through hostile action, air crash on land. Incident location: South Vietnam, Pleiku province.  Source:  honorstates.org
