Last Known Activity
A pilot with the 45th Tactical Reconnaisance Squadron flying a F-51D Mustang, Captain Brown was killed after beinig hit by ground fire on April 17, 1951.  He did not eject from the aircraft and it crashed 6 miles south of Sibyon-ni, North Korea.
Captain Brown was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and the Air Medal with oak leaf cluster.
