Last Known Activity A pilot with the 67th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing was flying his RF-51 Mustang, Captain Shawe's aircraft was shot down on December 1, 1950 and he was immediately captured by enemy troops. He was a prisoner of war until returned to military control during Operation Big Switch when hostilities ceased.
