Last Known Activity
He was a photographer in HQ Sq. of the 5th BG who had asked to go along on the Nov 16 mission in order to have 1 last aerial look at combat before he returned to the US.
His B-24 was badly damaged by enemy naval gunfire and was able to make into the interior of Borneo where most of the crew bailed out. He was seen to parachute from the plane but was never seen again. His remains were never found; he is memorialized in Manila.
