Last Known Activity
He was the navigator of a B-17 that was badly damaged by enemy fighters and flak while attacking Japanese ships near Balikpapan, Borneo. It crashed into the waters of the Makassar Strait with no survivors. He was in Headquarters Sq. of the 7th BG.
His remains were not recovered; he is memorialized at Manila.
