Sergeant Earls was a crew member of a B-29A Superfortress Bomber with the 30th Bomber Squadron, 19th

Bomber Wing, based at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa. He died of other causes on July 6, 1950 at Kadena.

The location of his remains is unknown.
