Last Known Activity
In his civilian career, he continued to make a difference, working for McDonnell Douglas developing computer-based programs for naval flight officers. After moving to San Angelo in 1999, Larry was a supporter of many Shannon activities, volunteered for Meals For The Elderly and was active in his Sunday school class at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. Larry's hobbies included wood work ? especially carving and checkering gun stocks ? and working on cars. One of his lifelong passions was shooting. He was an avid sportsman, a competitive skeet shooter and (once he moved to West Texas) a clay bird shooter. He belonged to two local gun clubs, the S.A. Clay Bird Association and S.A. Gun Club.
