Sergeant Edmund Ajduczyk served in the P.I. with the 7th Chemical Company, Aviation, Chemical Warfare Service, Far East Air Force. 

The duty of the Chemical  Warfare Service in the P.I. was to support units of the Far East AIr Force at Clark, Iba and Nichols AIr Fields,  However, due to the rapid loss of air power,  the 7th Chemical Company was attached to the 31st Infantry Regiment and fought as combat infantrymen on Bataan.

He was among the men who were surrendered and forced to march to Camp O'Donnel.  He died of dysentery while being held as a POW by the Japanes at Camp O'Donnel, Luzon, Philippines. 

He was assigned to the 7th Chemical Company, Aviation.
