Last Known Activity
Sgt. Albanese served out of Nakhon Phanom RTAFB, Thailand. His tour began on 29 November 1967. He was killed in the crash of a CH-3E (#66-13295) while on a resupply airdrop near Khe Sanh. It was lost in a rugged mountainous, jungle covered area when it descended beneath the cloud cover. The wreckage was seen by the escorting A-1E aircraft.
