Last Known Activity
Sgt. Buhr was killed in the crash of a CH-3E (tail number 66-13295) from the 21st Special Operations Squadron.

The individually unidentifiable commingled remains of the crew, including Sgt. Buhr,  were interred in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Those of  the pilot, Captain William Taylor, were identified and interred in Polk Memorial Gardens, Tryon, North Carolina.
