Last Known Activity The pilot of this aircraft, Major Mannifred Yates, and the two 20th SOS pilots, Captain Cameron and Captain Norman, were killed when they were shot down by ground fire when their O-2A Skymaster sustained battle damage and crashed on the morning of 13 Sep 69. Captain Cameron was a rotary wing pilot returning from Saigon to Nha Trang AB when the aircraft he was flying in was shot down.
