Last Known Activity
Then Major Campbell flew the F-4 with the "Night Owls" of the 497th TFS, 8th TFW.
He and his navigator, Captain Robert E. Holton, were shot down by AAA on a mission over Mu Gia Pass in Laos.   

His remains were identified in 2016 and were inurned or interred in Arlington, where he already had a memorial stone, on May 18, 2017.
