Last Known Activity
SSGT Coon was a Flight Engineer killed by hostile action while aboard a helicopter involved in combat operations.

John was prior service Coast Guard at the age of 17( 4 years) before separating from the service and then joining the Army(3 years) then later separating and rejoining the Air Force 4 years).
