Last Known Activity
According to second hand information, Captain Davie was in the left seat of his aircraft while on a spraying mission when a single bullet hit and killed him. There were no other casualities on board and the C-123 landed safely.

His tour in SEA began 23 June 1966.

He left a young wife at his death.

Notes: UPT class (63F) at Laredo AFB, TX. Stationed at Travis AFB prior to Vietnam) No other details at this time.
