SSgt. Warren Dixon along with six other Airman as members of the 14th Air Commando Squadron perished on the night of Feb. 15, 1968 when the AC-47 Gunship tail number "43-49859"  they were in crashed in the Ninh Thuan area of South Viet Nam.
