Comments/Citation
Capt. Gower began his Air Force career as a radar observer before entering flight school. He was then a pilot of a B47 Bomber with SAC. Prior to deployment to Vietnam he had attended flight training in the F100 at Luke AFB. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School and had been a good enough athlete to try out for the Cincinnati Reds farm team. He also attended Southwest Missouri State College.
