Last Known Activity
He was killed when his F-4D was shot down by enemy ground fire in Laos. He was 497th TFS CO at the time. He was not officially declared dead until Jul 17, 1978. His remains were not recovered; he is memorialized on Court A in Honolulu.
Then 1st Lt. Wayne C. Irsch was also lost in the incident.
