Last Known Activity
In Vietnam, A3C Overton served with 35th Services Squadron, 35th Combat Support Group, 35th Tactical Fighter Wing, 7th Air Force  based at Phan Rang, AB, SVN. His tour began on 8 Oct 1967

Tragically, he suffered cardiac arrest during a hernia operation at the 12th/483rd USAF Hospital, Cam Ranh Bay Air Base.

He was buried in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York, Section R Site 2267.
