In Viet Nam, Captain Anthony Joseph Pearson served at Bien Hoa AB, RVN. He and Captain Ralph Wensinger were controlling an air strike in O-2A (S/N 68-6870) near the Perfume River 10 miles south of Saigon when they were shot down and killed.
