US Air Force TSGT Harold David Williams, Vietnam Veteran, Native of Pinehurts, NC.

US Air Force Technical Sergeant Harold David Williams was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Air Force, TSGT Williams served our country until December 25th, 1967 in Darlac, South Vietnam. He was 35 years old and was not married. It was reported that Harold died from Pulmonary Embolisms. His body was recovered. Harold was born on June 12th, 1932 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. TSGT Williams is on panel 32E, line 060 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 15 years.

He is the son of Herbert & Martha Mae Campbell Williams of Aberdeen, NC; Father of Lisa H Williams and Karen A Williams Tabron, also of Aberdeen, NC.

He served with Detachment-1, Nha Trang, 314th Tactical Airlift Wing, 7th Air Force.

He was awarded The Vietnam Service Medal, The Air Force Good Conduct Medal(s), The Air Force Longevity Medal(s), The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal and The National Defense Service Medal(s), The Korean Service Medal, The United Nations Medal and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation.
