What are you doing now:
I drive the country over as a courier for a transportation business. Since July I have driven over 65,000 miles. Good job as they pay for my gas, lodging and food. I drive their car's so I don't put those miles on my car. Great job as it is peaceful except driving in bad weather.

Other Comments:
I took the early retirement in 1994 and I am glad I did it when I could. I have the full retirement minus the some pay( but with the job I have now I will get my full pay when I reach the age of 62 due to the requirements that were given to me at the time I got out). I have enjoyed my time I have been out but there are times that I think that I should have stayed in. I guess that one of the reason that I am still wearing the uniform. With my job I have to wear Bdu's but for some reason the rank we use are all officer's. I am now a 1lt here at the Challenge.

|
PLEASE DESCRIBE WHO OR WHAT INFLUENCED YOUR DECISION TO JOIN THE AIR FORCE.
My older sister (Nancy Mueller) suggested I give it a try as I was out of work and no direction in my Life. After many years in I know this was the best decision I could have ever made. Loved it.
|
OF ALL YOUR DUTY STATIONS OR ASSIGNMENTS, WHICH ONE DO YOU HAVE FONDEST MEMORIES OF AND WHY? WHICH WAS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE?
Hawaii was my best and Wight-Patterson was my least
|
CAN YOU RECOUNT A PARTICULAR INCIDENT FROM YOUR SERVICE, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN FUNNY AT THE TIME, BUT STILL MAKES YOU LAUGH?
Way too many in the years I served too list at this time
|
WHAT PROFESSION DID YOU FOLLOW AFTER YOUR MILITARY SERVICE AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW? IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY SERVING, WHAT IS YOUR PRESENT OCCUPATIONAL SPECIALTY?
Worked at an at risk youth program for almost 19 years but now working as a courier for a transportation company.
