Last Known Activity:

On Aug 9, 1944 he had to bail out of his P-51 over Yugoslavia. He linked up with a group of Yugloslav partisans until he was able to return to his squadron Sep 8. On Mar 3, 1945 he was strafing an enemy airfield in Austria when he was hit by flak and killed.
