Ate at the Kickapoo restaurant in the wee hours after the strip shut down in Bossier. Met my wife at the Stork Club. Both places don't exist and neither does the strip. Nanking is still in Shreveport.
Best Moment
Went through altitude chamber at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. Non-crew member status and got to fly on B-52's and KC-135 at Barksdale. Love to fly.

Worst Moment
During an ORI the last B-58 in line with KC-135's were taxing and the wheel went off taxi way into grass callaapsing the wheel and aircraft came own on pod. Two crew members escape but one ejected in the capsule but the chute did not open and he died. Glow from the aircraft was seen for three nights. Gatlin guns discharged pastKC-135 towards A&E building and other buidings none hit.

All the families who would invite me to dinner. $1.00 cases of beer they were selling at the package. Had some rusty cans from going through Super typhoon Karen.
Worst Moment
Lost Line Badge. Beleive I was exposed to Agent Orange there. Remember areas around the flight line t be brown/ straw color.Have a lot of illnesses that are on the Vietnam presumptive list. OH WELL.
Other Memories
Flying to Saipan and stopping in Rota to drop off a pig (Fiesta). Flew in a Aero Commander.The Hotel in Saipan had surplus Navy beds and were in Quenset huts.
