While assisting Barbara and Terry move into another Apt. off of Dawson Rd. in Albany Georgia, Barbara had borrowed a USAF truck from the motor pool to move the furniture. She had signed for the truck and had to be the driver by USAF rules. I was in front of Barbara with her 1964 Chevy conv. when I saw smoke billowing from under the truck. Barbara had never driven a Dodge truck with the driveshaft emergency brake before and she had left the brake locked. I ended up stopping traffic and rolling under the truck to beat the flames out. For Barbara we would do anything in those days. Stan
