The area labeled as "Former Antenna Field" was also part of the Karamursel Golf Course. The area labeled "The Beach" where the road can be faintly seen used to be the Karamursel Trailer Housing and the area labeled "Former Site, Marine Barracks" was the newest family housing which opened in late 1970 or January 1972.
