One of my additional duties as Assistant Air Attache, was to meet all U.S. Military Aircraft and/or visiting high-level U.S. dignitaries arriving at the Beijing International Airport, near the VIP Lounge. In this shot, you see me at the airport where U.S. Presidential Aircraft, Tail # 27000 (which is now on display in the Reagan Presidential Museum, in CA), that brought in President George H.W. Bush during his official visit to China. I am standing with my Chinese security counterparts after
the dignitaries have already disembarked the aircraft.
