During my tour of duty in the People's Republic of China (PRC), I collected a few examples of obsolete PRC governmental shoulderboards and corresponding accoutrements, including cap crests, and cloth & metal collar tabs. The dark blue shoulderboards (upper left side) are those of the PLA Navy, while the lower right features the People's Liberation Army. Shoulderboards of the Chinese Customs & Immigration Service are shown at the upper right side, while the red one are those of PRC judicial officials. The 'Ba Yi' (or 8 1, referring to 1 August 1949) are those of China's armed forces.
