I was impressed with the overall condition of the aircraft. Unlike the barracks, it was in pretty good condition - a little paint peeling here and there, but overall pretty good. Also, unlike the barracks, there was no vandalism at all, not one piece of graffitti and no damage at all. The grounds were neat and trimed, and the B-52 is in a good location. Countless people must go by it daily and it's right next to the ball fields. It is a truly fitting resting place for the Big Fella. I felt proud and honored to have been part of it all.
