Quite a few windows are broken, but the outside brick is in overall fair condition. At the time, we couldn't have asked for better living quarters. A three-story brick building with all the amenities, almost like college dorms but extremely well-kept due to all the inspections. Speaking of inspections, I remember some of the guys washing their cars on the front lawn. Areas of the grass turned brown and we actually had to spray paint the grass green so it would look presentable again for upcoming inspections. Spray paint the grass? Sure, no problem.
