Other Memories I was welcomed to the sqdn by the commander, as he was shaking my hand i presented him with my voulinteer statement for 5KA (Vietnam) he tells me that i have to wait a fiscal year before I can request a transfer. I tell him that I don't have to wait another minute as it's for 5KA (Vietnam) and a voulinteer statement can be submitted at any time. Oh he tells me. 11 months later I was on my way to Vietnam.
