Best Friends Most everyone in OMS at the time, especially in the dorm. But two fellows stuck out at the time, Greg Hewins and Mike Bohn, to whom I owe a great debt.

Other Memories Global Shield, Giant Voice, numerous ORI's and the blizzard of 78. MITO launches rattling the dorms. Strangest Memory.. one day the OIC for Tanker Branch came down for uniform and haircut inspection. Tanker Phase fell in in three orderly ranks, doffed our hats and snapped to attention. As the inspector nearedthe fellow in front of me, one of the hangar's feathered bombers let loose on my head. The LT. saw this and I maintained my military bearing, I got a three day pass for getting crapped on! My shop chief couldn't spare me for three but I did get the next day off.
