I had a great career and worked for some wonderful supervisors. My greatest satisfaction was working as a First Sergeant and helping the troops. I almost wish I could relive those days again. The Air Force has moved on with changes that this old dinosaur wouldn't be able to make. I do not believe that they are all for the good. Doesn't matter though, every thirty years things change back to what they used to be. Don't believe me? Watch.
Other Memories "D" Flight. Primary Instructor was a MSgt Jerry Clouthier. MSgt George Heim was the Honor Graduate. MSgt Bobby D. (of the Air Force)White and I drove down in his wife's Cadillac. We got broadsided by a kid in a pickup truck in Arkansas. The evening we arrived we went to a Maxican restaurant. I had an order of nachos. I paid dearly for that the next day. (OUCH!!!) TSgt Gene Hires was my roommate. He was from the 7th Special Operations Squadron in Europe.
