Additional Information
Last Known Activity:
Retired from Active Duty in 1971, trained as a boiler engineer, and took work accordingly in Thief River Falls, MN, and Grand Rapids, MN.
Other Comments:
Jerry was the husband of my aunt Vicky (my mother's sister).
He was a quiet and respectful man, great inner strength, honorable and proper.
I am just beginning to enter data on his Remembrance Profile Page. He saved a bit of information, mostly DD-214's and some related documents. I am having some occasional trouble sorting thru the AF paperwork and/or correlating that to AFTWS, but am managing to sniff out a thing or two. As I become more familiar with both, I will probably be interfacing more with Admin and other members for assistance.
NOTE: Since I am unfamiliar with both the USAF and AFTWS, I have double-listed some of the assignment time periods showing both the unit and the AF Base he was assigned to. If this is not the way to do this, I will gladly accept corrective advice.
1950-1950, AAF MOS 677, Tyndall Air Force Base
