Best Moment
Going head to to head with a "Kate" and blowing it out of the sky. "It was coming right at my plane through the twin stabilizers. That's how I got my Air Medal. The whole crew was screaming at me to 'Get him!!!' "

Worst Moment
With nothing between him and the Pacific Ocean except 10,000 feet and the 12" wide catwalk; releasing bombs "hung up" in the bomb bay.
