This Veteran has an (IMO) In Memory Of Headstone in Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial, Hawaii as well as an IMO Marker in Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, Warren County, IL.
Staff Sergeant Moore was a member of the 310th Air Commando Squadron. On May 18, 1966, he was a crew member of a Provider Cargo Aircraft (C-123B) on a flare mission about 45 miles east of Pleiku, Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam when his aircraft was hit by hostile fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered.
