After retiring from the Air Force, I went to Vo-Tech to use my G.I. Bill (Hotel/Motel Management and Electronics). Went to work for Wal-Mart as Electronic Department Manager. Retired after seven years. Started my own Electronic Repair business for a few years. After 9-11, went to work for Homeland Security training TSA personnel. After two and a half years, got tired of living out of a suitcase because I traveled so much to many different airports around the states, so I retired from them also. Now Momma and I travel a lot, gardening, fishing, and casino gambling. Active in the Chief's Group at Eglin AFB, FL.
1958-1958, 27330A, 758th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron
Worst Moment My first assignment after Tech School, also my shortest assigment. The Chief of the Indian Reservation didn't want any blacks at the radar site. PCS lasted 2 hours 13 minutes.
