Gary is a Computer Security professional with thirty years experience in the computer industry. In addition to his work as Associate Director of Global IT Disaster Recovery for Quintiles Transnational Corp., he is an independent consultant in IT Security. In this latter role he applies industry best IT security practices in the areas of architecture design, strategic systems design, network assessments for security and policy compliance, and vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for several agencies of the United States Government to include NASIRC, ASSIST, AFCERT, DoD, and the AFOSI.
Mr. Hull is also the author of several security software tools and security bulletins published by CERT and NASIRC. He has also published several articles focusing on both Computer Security and Mass Storage research for NASA. Mr Hull is a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the DC Air National Guard where he worked as a Communication Superintendent in Information Operations Warfare (IOW). In this role he and his team work closely with the NSA and are responsible for network security, web content analysis, UNIX and Windows security training, computer forensics and hacker tool analysis for the US Air Force.
He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Superior where he earned a B.S. degree in Liberal Arts and an M.S. in Psychology.
Gary is an avid fly fishermen when not engaged in IT Security projects.
