A fine USAF Nurse and very caring person, Nina was from downtown Chicago, near the Loop as she would say. She had a strong love for Chicago and in 1994 we visited Chicago to attend the Junior Olympics (Son-Martial Arts) and saw why she was so fond of the town. We miss you Nina. Its a heartbreaking thing when someone passes in their early 50s especially on their birthday.. Your close friend, companion and co-worker. Stan
Other Comments:
Nina had a collection of Rafael carvings (Local San Juan,Puerto Rico artist) that she was very proud of and would add to every time we visited San Juan. She also had a fondness for an Italian restaurant in San Juan which would hang all of the wine bottles on the walls after you signed, dated and listed your hometown on them. I dont recall its name but it was a very interesting place and judging by the crowd, very popular.
