BALTHAZOR,GEORGE Former Fond du Lac, WI and San Diego, CA, resident "George" Richard Balthazor, born Richard George Balthazor, died on July 3, 2008 at age 86, in San Diego, CA.

Upon his death, without recognition nor correct verification of his actually having been a highly decorated World War II veteran, George was declared an "unclaimed indigent".

His remains were then cremated and scattered at sea off the coast of San Diego without a veteran's military funeral.
