Last Known Activity:

He downed 7 enemy aircraft in aerial combat in WWII. He also destroyed 3 flying bombs, 25 enemy vehicles, and 5 locomotives.
He was killed in a flying accident in an AT-6F Texan near Norristown, PA,  Mar 28, 1947, while serving with the 64th Army Air Force Base Unit at Andrews Field, MD.
Due to a glitch in the system his Air Medals shown are incorrect. His actual total was 18.

(Citation Needed) - SYNOPSIS: Captain (Air Corps) Edwin O. Fisher, United States Army Air Forces, was awarded the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry in action against the enemy while serving with the NINTH Air Force in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.
