Last Known Activity:

He enlisted in the infantry in 1940 then served in the USAAF until soon after WWII. He joined the USAF in 1956 and retired in 1970. He was officially credited with 13.83 (some sources say 14.84) aerial combat victories. He was also credited with one of the most memorable lines by any 8th AF pilot in WWII. He had obtained some silk underwear and was using it to entice an English barmaid by saying, "Stick with me, honey; and you'll be farting through silk."

Nothing is known of his USAF career 1956-1970.
The location of his remains is unknown.
