 Additional Information
Last Known Activity:

2nd Lt. Adams attended military college and served in the Vermont National Guard when he registered in the Signal Corps on 14 June 1917. (Working with the State Extension Service, Burlington, Vermont at time of draft registry).

He was killed on 20 February 1919 at Park Field, Millington, Tennessee when he and another pilot crashed in a Curtiss "Jenny" JN-4D (AS-33965) about 2 miles north of Millington after entering into a spin.

At that time, Park Field was a flight training base for the Signal Corps, the "founder" of the AAF.  (Park Field is located 1 miles north of Memphis and is now a U.S. Navy installation).

He was interred in Locust Ridge Cemetery, Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont.
