Worst Moment day I found out Phil had been killed in action, next worst, was when his brother Bill was killed some time later, also in action
Other Memories long nights preflighting ,servicing F100's, drinking, relaxing either at the "strip" or at "hole-in-the-wall" bar at Top Cham , long, hot nights in the acft wheel/tire shop, (was 2nd shift NCOIC) also days on crash recovery crew, we played a hell of a lot of "hearts".
