Doing mostly Community Service with Lions International, Knight of Columbus, as well as with the American Legion.

At home, I do mostly gardening, tending to our fig, pomegranate, persimmon, orange, pear, lemon, as well as calamansi trees. For mental exercise, do the daily cross word puzzle, reading the Sacramento Bee, and some classics.
Best Friends Initial assignment was as a warehouse helper, operating an addresograph machine, preparing the nomenclature of an aircraft or other item and it's description. Quick upgrade to Airman Second Class
When I met a promotion board I was informed by the President of the board to report to Management
and Procedure for a new assignment. My AFSC was change from wahehousing to Stock Control Technician.
My best friends were Henry Sanchez and Roberto Urista.
Best Moment Quick promotion to Airman First Class. Joining a Base Precision Drill Team along with my two room mates.
Worst Moment When I met the Promotion Board for Airman Second Class, I was selected on top of the list. However, when it was time to publish the orders, it was determined that I did not have the required time in grade for promotion to Airman Second Class. Although I did not have to meet the next promotion board, I still had to wait for the next promotion cycle before I can pin my stripes...an administrative oversight.
