Started my hitch as a 462 weapons mechanic, and worked at Luke, AFB, and Tuy Hoa Vietnam. Upon leaving Tuy Hoa in 1970 as a 3 stripe Sgt., I was involuntarily cross trained to the 631 fuels specialist field, and assigned to Langley AFB, Va. where I made SSgt., and became the night shift superviser for base fuels. I finished my hitch in Feb. of 1972 and left the AF.
